CSR owners discussion

I see from BC that the 2.4 V8 engined Levante, based on the SV chassis, is now sold out, even at £115,00 that's not bad going.

The question is though, why did they use the SV chassis for this, rather than the much more sophisticated CSR chassis?

Do any of you get the feeling that the CSR is being sidelined a bit recently. I'm sure they are still selling, but all the emphasis seems to be going on the new range of R models, especially the 500, of course. I wonder what ever happened to the X330 that they were playing with?

I believe the X330 now lives in Norway. Owned by a guy who
already have a CSR 200. More information can be
found on the norwegian Seven Owners Club´s homepage.

Last I'd heard the X330 was in bits in Dartford...

I refitted the engine to the X330 earlier in the year with a new gearbox. It was then shipped to its new owner.

BTW Mick, whilst not wanting to prolong the whinging on BC, I thought your dash layout looks very striking, by that I mean I really liked what you've done with it, much nicer than plain black, it looks like a real feature now.

Any interest in it yet? I dread to think what the value of my car is down to now, good job I'm not thinking of selling it.

Hi Paul, a couple of really interested people but no one has parted with thier money yet. Unfortunately the pictures don't show the colour very well. It's not the best time to sell it, but I'm sure it will go in the end.
